This is a photo of a pond at Wompatuck State Park in Hingham MA. Look closely.........do you see any water?? It's completely dry from the drought we are experiencing. There's no sign of any rain in sight in the future forecast either.

Here's a shot taken from a path in the woods:

Here's the folks sitting at a picnic table while I was out shooting photos:

  1. Wow Carol, I knew it was dry out there but your photo of the pond in Wampatuck shows how serious it has become. I heard on tonights forecast that there is a"possibility" of soaking rain on Monday. We'll see if they get it right. I guess the word "possibility" gets them off the hook.
NIce shot of the woods & your parents are just so darn cute!!!! : )

  2. Hi Diane,
I saw that on the news tonight too, so I hope they are correct. We really need the rain badly. Glad you liked the woods shot and I just HAD to include that photo of my parents. :-) See you tomorrow!

  3. Wow -- I know just where that "pond" is -- we rode our bikes over there a few weeks ago, and it looked very different then. C'mon, rain!
