South Shore Photographers Juried Show

I am happy to announce that one of my images has been selected to be in a Juried Photography Show presented by The South Shore Art Center.

The show is being held until April 30th, at The South Shore Conservatory in Hingham MA. If you are in the area and get a chance to stop by, you will be treated to some fantastic photography from some very talented photographers. There are several members of my camera club who also have work accepted to this show, and I am honored to have my work included. A reception was held last evening, and it was a wonderful time.

This is my accepted image:

Ring Billed Gull

I FINALLY got out with my camera today. I took my Dad on a "picnic" at Nelson Beach in Plymouth. It was a picnic in the car, as it was way too cold outside for him. It was a beautiful blue sky day, but it was very cold with a strong biting wind, especially along the coast.

I ventured out of the car.....and it felt soooooo good to be out walking around with my camera. Didn't capture anything too exciting, but I like this Ring Billed Gull who was happy to pose for me.

Hill Farmstead Brewery, Greensboro VT

We had a fantastic family weekend in Vermont, despite the ten below zero temperature, and wind chill of almost 30 degrees below zero. We cancelled all of our outdoor activities due to the weather, but we were able to make our visit to the Farmstead Brewery as planned.

This brewery is operated by Shawn Hill, located high up on a hilltop on the location of his grandfather's old dairy farm. What a beautiful location this is!

The retail operation has recently expanded with a large new room equipped with a bar for taste testing, a few tables for seating, and a really great atmosphere. We waited approximately 40 minutes to get waited on, which isn't too bad of a wait time. My favorite beer was "Edward". I found it to be smooth with not too much of a "hoppy" flavor, and came home with a few growlers of it. I will certainly return on my next visit to VT to get the growlers refilled.

This brewery was rated "Best Bewery In The World" by Ratebeer.com. I hope you can make a visit here yourself to find out why. You won't be disappointed!

Pre Dawn Duxbury MA

Hello! Sorry for my absence. I'm beginning to feel better and hope to get out with my camera soon. Haven't done any shooting in quite a while and I miss it. Today I will share with you a photo that I took in Duxbury MA on Valentine's morning before sunrise.

I really hope all is well with you and hope to be posting more often.
