Bald Eagle

I hope you are enjoying the lazy hazy days of Summer. It's been extremely hot and humid here in Southern New England. I headed out early yesterday morning before it got too hot to check out the bald eagles.

Here is one of the eaglets in the nest....I could barely see it.

Old Ship Church Hingham MA

The Old Ship Church in Hingham MA was built in 1681. It is the oldest surviving 17th Puritan Meetinghouse in America and the oldest church building in continuous use in the United States.

Today it is The First Parish Church in Hingham, a liberal Unitarian Universalist community of about 250 members.

I toured this beautiful historic landmark with members of my camera club yesterday. Although I typically do not use sepia tones with my photos, I decided that the sepia tones go along with the age of the church.

I really enjoyed learning about this Historical New England Landmark, and it was great to reunite with some camera club friends who I haven't seen for over a year due to the pandemic.
