It happened so fast....and it was so unexpected. Long story short......Abby got bitten by our next door neighbor's dog this afternoon. We immediately took her to the vet, and she is home now, with 12 staples in her thigh. :-( She is heavily medicated, and hasn't moved from the spot where I placed her when we got home a couple of hours ago. We just tried to take her outside to go potty, but she is still too drugged to stand up. :-( Rudy was quite upset.......and is being a very attentive brother.......

I got someone to work for me tomorrow (Thanks sooooo much Danielle) so that I can stay home with her and keep an eye on her. I'll post an update tomorrow night and let you know how she's doing.

ReplyDeleteOh Carol that is awful about Abby.It must have been very scary for you. Thank goodness none of her internal organs were damaged. Randy and I were on a whale watch today and met two of you wonderful camera club members. (and lots of whales!)

I got an email from one the camera club members that you met today. Such a small world! Glad you had such a good day and saw lots of whales.
Poor Abby...Hope she is feeling better!!
