More from yesterday's snow shots

Day 214/Year 2
A few more from yesterday's visit to War Memorial Park in West Bridgewater MA.
The water was really high from all of the recent rain.

This was my first visit to this newly refurbished park, but it won't be my last!! I really liked it here!

  3. Carol, I love the snow on the rail with the red of the burning bush. A little snow can sure enhance a photo. We've had a really weird autumn here in Minnesota. I planted a couple of red maples and a sugar maple along the margins of a woods behind my house fifteen years ago. The red maples turned early in October. The sugar maple is at peak color right now...go figure.

Halloween 1991 was our snowfall to remember. We got 28 inches and it stayed around for the entire winter.

Frankly, I would love a nice heavy snow. I can't wait to get back on my skis. I may do some winter photography along the ski trails this year but I'm planning a photo trip to Yellowstone in January to get some real winter scenery.
