The patterns of Nature

This is the Maple Tree out on my front lawn. It is now bare.......as every single leaf has fallen to the ground. This is the time of year, we, as photographers, can find many intricate patterns and contrasts of bare branches against the sky........at all different times of the day......for completely different looks. I find these bare branches to be beautiful and intriguing. This was taken this evening just after sunset. In a few weeks, these branches will be decorated with the first fallen snow of the season. And so it goes on.............
