Continuing on with more photos taken over the Winter. On January 31st, we got another inch or two of snow here, so once again, I went out with my camera just to take a few photos near my home in Abington.

How was your Winter?
I know that it's been a very long time since I have posted here on the blog. I've been searching for ways for the followers to be able to get notifications when I post, but can't seem to find a solution. I was giving up on posting on the blog, but recently have been thinking about it a lot so today I decided to get back on it.
I have done some shooting since I last posted. I'll give a recap of some of the photos that I've taken over the Winter.
First snow...........It was a mainly snowless Winter here in Southern New England. One morning in late December I woke up to a few inches of snow that had fallen overnight. I grabbed my camera and went out the door to capture the beauty at Cross Street Farm in Norwell MA.

Vermont NEK Fall Foliage 2022
Today's blog post is showcasing images from the first two days of this Fall's trip to Vermont. We arrived in the NEK of VT on Friday September 30th. The foliage was near peak and peak in some areas of the NEK.
We left home around 5:15 in the morning. This was our first stop to photograph at one of my favorite places, Jobs Pond in Westmore VT. Click on the video to view:
The three church steeples in Island Pond reflecting in the water. I typically shoot this scene from the State Park across the water, but this year we did some further exploration of the area and found this location that gives a closer view.

Mount Mansfield Snow and Foliage
Here we are in the second week of November and I haven't written one blog post from this Fall. I'm totally frustrated with Blogger. They stopped sending email notifications to my followers and I feel like it's pointless for me to post anymore because nobody sees the posts. I'm hoping SOMEBODY sees this post.
I spent two wonderful weeks photographing the Fall foliage in Vermont, from September 30 to October 13. The foliage was awesome and I was very happy to get many shots to add to my portfolio. I will start this first post with my favorite day of the two weeks. On October 8th I spent the day in the Cambridge/Underhill areas of Vermont. I've photographed this area on a few other occasions, but this year was different in a very good way. There was snow on the peak of Mount Mansfield......a photographers dream to have the seasons mingling like this.

Sunrise Hull MA
Last weekend the smoke from the fires out in California traveled through the air stream all the way to New England. This caused some pretty colorful sunrises and sunsets. I headed to the beach to catch the sunrise on Sunday morning.

Coastal Maine Labor Day Weekend
****Reminder***** Blogger is no longer sending email notifications when a new blog post goes up so please check here periodically for new blog posts. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend up in Maine. The weather was perfect. Sunny days with temps in the 70's and cool crisp nights with lows in the 40's and 50's. There was definitely a Fall feel in the air. This was a family trip, not a dedicated photography trip. Most of these photos are just "record" shots taken in the middle of the day with poor lighting conditions........but...........I did use my camera for some of these (others are from cell phone). It felt great to use my camera again.
