Two blog posts in one, as I did not post yesterday.
I attended a flower photography workshop run by my good friend and fellow photographer Greg Lessard http://blog.greglessardphotography.com/ yesterday morning. It was a beautiful day and it gave me some much needed practice time with the 90 mm macro lens I purchased last week.
From there, I went to Blithwold Mansion in Bristol RI to photograph the beautiful gardens with my camera club. The daffodils are in bloom and it was such a pretty sight to see and photograph.
Here are the stamens of one of the beautiful tulips that are in bloom right now in one of the many gardens at Blithwold.
I had a wonderful day spent with good friends followed up by a fantastic early dinner at the Lobster Pot Restaurant on beautiful Narragansett Bay.
Carol, you certainly made the most of a beautiful day for your fine flower fotographie! I love the colors and the carpet of daffodils.
