Macro Flowers At Abington Butterfly Garden

A friend of mine sent me some macro flower photographs that she recently took, and I feel in love. I have a macro lens that I bought about four or five years ago. There's a learning curve using the lens and I gave up because I wasn't happy with my results. I'm now rejuvenated and inspired and dug out the macro lens last evening when I looked out my window and saw my flag was standing still. No wind really helps when taking detailed macro shots. I headed up the road to the butterfly garden.

I just love the color combinations. These are not perfect but practice makes perfect and I'm inspired enough to keep practicing.
