This weekend will be perfect for viewing the thousands of Herring as they make their final leg from the Carolina Coastline up to Whiman's Pond in Weymouth MA. The temperature has warmed up enough that these fish will be very happy to make the final trek. I spoke with the Game Warden last week and he told me they were holding off because the temperature was not warm enough.

Beautiful dappled blue and gold ~ Lots of depth and texture! ~ Schools of herring return ~
ReplyDeleteYes Cynthia. They have arrived in full force. I learned there is a beautiful spot where they take a break after climbing ladders, and if you catch them at the right time of day, the sun is on them and it makes the sand beneath a beautiful golden tone.
