Over to Northern NH for the day

                                                   198/365
We had a beautiful day today. Mr S and I woke up early here in Vermont and got some last minute things done for a dinner party we hosted this evening. We then met up with some of my friends from my Vermont foliage/photography forum. There were 6 of us who took off to travel over to Northern NH.......we had 3 seperate vehicles, and each vehicle had a walkie talkie so we could communicate with each other.........you know.........just in case one of us decided we needed to pull over for any emergency photo ops :-)
This first photo is of Beaver Brook Falls in Colebrook NH. The falls were running stronger than I have ever seen, from the heavy rains of the previous 2 days up here.

This second shot is of a colorful hillside in Colebrook NH.

Finally, here's a closeup of what peak foliage looks like. The colors were stunning!

Upon our return from NH, we had 8 guests to our VT home for a dinner party/reunion with my foliage website friends. Some were friends we have already met, and a few we met for the first time. It was a wonderful evening!
