I am so happy!!!! Last night was the image of the year competition at camera club. There are monthly competitions held throughout the year, and the images that placed first, second, or third during the monthly competitions are eligible to be in the image of the year competition. I am thrilled because I won in 2 categories. Here are my winning images:
Open Intermediate Digital Winner
Titled: "Available Light"
Assigned Category (Portrait) Digital Winner
Titled "My Buddy Eric"
It was such an exciting night featuring the best of the best. I am so happy for the other winners as well. There were so many fantastic photos and I'm really proud to be a member of a club with so much talent!
The Specs:
Todays photo of the day: Panasonic LX3, ISO 80, 1/8, f2.8, vignette added in post

Thanks for the vote of confidence BNVT! It means a lot to me. There's lots of talented photographers out there that inspire me to get up to their level. Who knows where this whole photography thing will take me, but I'm enjoying every minute of the ride. :-) Thanks for your friendship and support!
