A Mother's Love

We got some snow here in Southern New England this weekend. It was the perfect kind of snow. It was pretty while it lasted, and it didn't last long as it's April after all and the temperatures warmed up quickly.
I went out early Saturday morning with my camera to check out the nesting swans in the area. I was struck by this sight when I saw it.....

A Mother's love:

This Mama swan was snow covered sitting on her eggs. She bore the brunt of the snow and cold to keep her eggs safe and warm. Now that is love!
