Jay Peak and Dandelion Season in Vermont

Dandelion season in Vermont is always such a beautiful time of the year. Each Spring, the fields of Vermont are dotted with beautiful yellow dandies. Last week the dandies were in full bloom up in the Northeast Kingdom.

While traveling around the area of Jay, we noticed this gorgeous field of dandelions. It's nice to photograph the fields, but to me, it's even better when there is an interesting focal point beyond the field. Our car came to a screeching halt when we saw this scene, which was so much fun to photograph. I love how this scene shows the changing seasons, with a last bits of snow remaining on the slopes of Jay Peak in the background, and the spring blooms in the foreground. And how adorable is the log cabin? I really love this scene.

Here's another scene we found with a field of dandies in the forefront, with Jay Peak beyond.
