Gosling and nesting swans

Days 69 and 70/365

Day 69

My favorite part of the Spring Season is the birth of the baby wildlife. I found this oh so adorable gosling at a pond in Rockland MA this morning.

From here I went to Island Grove in Abington to check on the nesting swans. Mama was sitting on the nest. I expect the sygnets to be born sometime this week.

Dad was preening......

I'll be visiting the nest daily from now on. Can't wait for the big arrivals!

Today was a good day. I will tell you all about it next week. In the meantime, here's another flower image I made the other day.

Cemetery Visit

Day 67/365

It's still raining today. It's a good thing, as we really need the rain. The other day......when it was nice and warm and sunny........we went to visit my Mom's grave at the cemetery and plant some flowers.

Miss J and Ryleigh did the planting.

Dad did the supervising......

A few weeks ago I went to Stonybrook Wildlife Sanctuary in Norfolk MA for a walk through nature and also to take some photos. The frog from the other day's blog post was taken that day. Here's another image I took that day of a Great Blue Heron in it's environment. Love the Spring colors.

We are getting some much needed rain right now in Southern New England. I hope you enjoyed your weekend.

Go To Hull!

Iphonography today. Went to Hull with my Dad.......a gorgeous fabulous day.....and only had the cell phone with me for pictures.

Making Remembrances

Day 63/365

I took the "Mother" Flower arrangement home from the Funeral. My Sister In Law wanted me to "work my magic" on the flowers and create something that would last forever. I had just a little time today to "play" with some of the flowers. I hope my Sister In Law is happy with what I have created so far.
