Six month old Conor Christmas Photography
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Time is moving quickly and somehow we are already in the Christmas season. How does this happen so fast?
Speaking of the Christmas season, I recently did a Christmas family photo shoot. I'm much more comfortable shooting landscapes and wildlife and all things nature, but every once in a while I will do portraits. It usually causes me stress and anxiety, but this photo shoot was easy peasy because I had an adorable six month old who was happy to cooperate with me and my camera, and he has a very easy going mom and dad who were so much fun to work with.
Here is adorable Conor: (As always, click photos to enlarge)

Thank you Courtney, Ryan and Conor for allowing me the opportunity to take your photographs. It was a pleasure.

The Colors of November
Happy Thanksgiving week to you! I can't believe how time is flying by. I know we say that all the time, but this year in particular just blows my mind and I have no idea how it is already the week of Thanksgiving.
We had some color here in SE MA up to about a week ago. Most of it is all gone and stick season is here, but here's a few photos I took about ten days ago of some nice color that I found.

Boston Public Garden and Beacon Hill in The Fall
A few weeks ago......actually the week before Halloween......I went into Boston early on a Sunday morning with some camera club friends. The Fall foliage was a bit behind this year in the Public Garden, as expected with the way this Fall has been going.....but many of the beautiful homes on Beacon Hill did not disappoint and were beautifully decorated.

Moutain View Dairy B and B Irasburg VT
After a day out shooting in VT this Fall, it was getting to be late afternoon and I didn't have an exact plan of where we would be going to shoot the late day light. I usually like to have a set itinerary, but sometimes it works when you just wing it, as was the case on this particular day.
I decided we would head up to the Mountain View Dairy and Bed and Breakfast in Irasburg. I had done some morning photography at this location in the past, and I knew it had some promise for late day shooting. I wasn't disappointed.

Irasburg United Church, VT
After a very loooong day of shooting, there was one more stop that I wanted to make before we headed home. We were tired. Very tired. I honestly was going to go shoot this by myself. I didn't expect them to come with me......I knew my companions had enough and just wanted to go home to bed. But they insisted that "All for one" or however that saying goes........so we all went together to photograph the Irasburg United Church lit up at night.
I heart my friends.......
