Tangerini's Spring Street Farm, Millis MA

If you are a regular follower here on the blog then you already know how much I love farms. My favorite thing about the Summer is all of the locally grown, delicious, and nutritious fruits and vegetables. Farms are also fun places to photograph so the other day I went to Tangerini's Farm in Millis MA with my two oldest kids (N and Miss J) and the three models......oops, I mean grandkids.

Here we are walking through the sunflower field. It was hot....very hot......in the sun out in this field.

We cut several sunflowers to bring home with us......all were picked out by Ryleigh who did a wonderful job finding the prettiest sunflowers for us.

We then found a nice shady spot to take a break (and some photos). Everyone was very happy to be in the shade. Stevie and Henry enjoyed themselves.

Ryleigh was promised an ice cream if she cooperated with Nana's camera.......and she did some sassy poses for me. :-)

And when she refused to pose and tried to hide behind a sunflower, I still was able to get a photo that I'm happy with by focusing on her eye that was peaking out.....

The fruits and veggies in the farm stand are all freshly picked. I bought some peaches (had one today with my lunch and was so juicy and delicious).....

I also had some of these organic cherry tomatoes and hummus for my lunch. The tomatoes are soooooo good.

Having some corn on the cob tonight....

We ended our farm visit with ice cream. I've been avoiding sugar but just HAD to have an ice cream. I got the black raspberry chocolate chip frozen yogurt. It was sooooo delicious and I am already dreaming of having another one when I go back in the Fall. I hope I can wait that long. It really was THAT good. Just thinking about it is making me want to go back right now and get one. Just a little bit obsessed.......

It was such a happy day!
