Fall Foliage Along Railroad Tracks

I've been looking to make an image along railroad tracks lined with Fall foliage for the past several years. Each time I made an image, I wasn't happy enough with it to include in my portfolio. Either the colors of the foliage weren't right, or the lighting was creating harsh shadows and contrasts. This year I found pretty close to what I have been envisioning along the railroad tracks in Bloomfield VT.

  1. Good selection
Do you ever try a horizontal flip on photographs or do you leave them in their natural view?

  2. Hi May,
I typically leave the photographs in the perspective in which they are shot. However, there have been a few times where I have tired a flip and have been very happy with the results.
