Immature Canada Goose

Day 104/365

I'm baaaaaaack. But you are going to have to bare with me as I am just beginning to learn the new software. So far so good with the new laptop.......but then again I've only had it for a few hours. I love the look of it. The speed is much quicker than any other laptop I've owned.
I've had some issues downloading the Adobe Creative Cloud Lightroom and Photoshop Software. I kept getting an error message, which resulted in me calling the fine folks at Adobe......and they were able to solve the issue for me.
So, it is now downloaded and the next task I have is to learn how to use it. This image is a "quick and dirty" edit of a RAW file I took the other night. I wanted to put it up here on the blog just because it's been so long since I have posted an image. I fumbled my way through Lightroom to get the image processed and save as a jpeg. Yeah for me. But I have so much more learning to do.

This is a cute Juvenile Canada Goose that was laying down in the grass at the cemetery.
I hope to post more this weekend so stay tuned!

  1. Hi Carol, ~ Congratulations on your new computer and software! I am enjoying the enlarged view. What a great viewpoint ~ "belly botany"! Interesting to see baby feathers still on its young head. I don't ever remember seeing such a large yellow eye around the pupil; perhaps it turns black upon reaching adulthood? Nevertheless, it's keeping its eye on you ~ ~

    1. Hi Cynthia. Thank you.....I really enjoyed photographing this cute little one.....and I find his little tufts of baby feathers to be very endearing. I also was surprised to see the eye look like that as well.
