Runs like a Deere

Day 139/Year 2
While traveling along one of the many dirt back roads up in VT on Saturday, we came upon this old farm where these 2 old John Deere tractors were sitting on a hill. Mr. S was very interested in them. So much in fact, that he backed up the truck so we could get a good look and some photos of them. They're from the '40's according to Mr. S........... He thinks 1947.
It amazes me how he can look at an old tractor, truck or car, and tell you what year they were from. He doesn't always "get" my love of photography, and I don't always "get" his love of anything with wheels and a motor, but it's pretty cool how sometimes our "likes" mesh into one. He enjoyed seeing these 2 old tractors, seemingly abandoned for quite some time, and I enjoyed photographing them......I liked how the light green color of the paint blended together nicely with the pastel colors of the landscape surrounding them.
The Specs:
Nikon D90, 18-200 mm lens, ISO 200, 1/100, f9
