This is the boardwalk leading to the beach in Sandwich MA. What a beautiful spot, huh?
The shorebirds you saw yesterday were nesting just a bit further up the beach on the sand below the dunes.
The skies were clearing from East to West and it turned out to be a beautiful day!! (Finally) :-)
This photo above is of a boardwalk leading to Sagamore Beach. We stopped here later in the day to see the nesting Piping Plovers.
The red buoy in this photo is where the Cape Cod Canal begins.
Time to head home.........

ReplyDeleteI was so hoping you would see these photos from Sandwich. I was thinking of you so much when I was there. In fact, I drove past your old homestead. I haven't been by there for years and years. So much has changed over time. I saw George and Ellen at BA's retirement party Friday night. Yes, let's get together with the folks for lunch in July!
