Take a second look!

Day 53/Year 2
I was revisiting some of the photos I have recently taken. I remember my friend Andy wrote a blog about going back to "take a second look" at your images. http://lightcentric.wordpress.com/2010/12/12/second-looks/s
Sometimes we can overlook a photograph that has potential of being a keeper, but when taking a second look, we decide that we really like the shot afterall. That's what happened to me today. I was reviewing some photos when I came across this one that was taken on that foggy morning a few weeks ago in Middleboro while I was out shooting with Diane and Greg.
I actually love this photograph. As soon as it came up on my screen today, my heart skipped a beat. How did I overlook this the first time? I don't know. Perhaps it was because I had hundreds of images to go through and this one just got lost in the mass of photographs.
I didn't do much to this. I slightly cropped the original, and I softened the overall image, but otherwise, this is what came out of the camera. The lighting that morning was such a gift. Just beautiful.
I hope you like this one as much as I do!
The Specs:
Nikon D90, 18-200 mm lens, ISO 200, 1/100, f14

  7. Beautiful shot! Yes, I do this all the time, too. In fact, I think I am so critical of my photos that it is always better for me to wait and view the images a couple days after I take them. Gives me some distance and perspective. Glad to hear others do this too!
