Cloudy Weather Photography

Day 20/Year 2
I've been waiting for the right conditions to photograph this area, and today was the perfect  day for slow shutter speed waterfall photography. I have visited this area on other days, but the lighting was too harsh, so I put this on my "cloudy day" list. When shooting moving water, if you want to get the "smooth milky effect" of the running water, you need to use a slow shutter speed. It's difficult to get a decent exposure on sunny days without blowing out the highlights.
What you are looking at is the waterfall and fish ladder at Luddam's Ford Park, which is located on Elm Street in Hanover MA...........A beautiful and tranquil place to visit.

I hope you enjoyed the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
The Specs:
Nikon D90, 18-200 mm lens with ND4 neutral density filter, ISO 200, 1 second, f36, -5 ev
